This is a sketch for my magazine double page spread. This will be a change of colour scheme to dark green and white because the website of the band that i am interviewing 'Pretty Silhouettes' have a colour scheme of green and black.

Pictures for my Contents Page

 I used this picture in my contents page as one of my feature stories was about Coldplay raising awareness.

I took this photo at a Tribe concert so i used it as one of my feature stories was about 'A night with Tribe'

This is one of the pictures that i took for my front cover. I decided to use this in my contents page as it was a main feature story.

I took this picture of a local drummer as i had a feature content called 'Battle of the bands' as this associated with that.

Pictures i took for my front cover

These are all the pictures that i took for my front cover.

I chose this picture to be my main image on my magazine as this is the pose that i originally wanted on my magazine when i had drawn the sketches. I thought this was a good picture to use as i felt it represented both genres of music, indie and rock. I also liked how the festival wrist band of the model is showing as when i asked my audience what they associate with rock/indie one of the things said was festivals and concerts. The colourful jumper that the model is wearing also represents the indie and rock genre as it is unique.

This is a rough sketch of what i would like the front cover of my music magazine to look like. I would like my colour scheme to be red,black and white. I chose red as it was one of the audiences favourite colour. I picked black and white to go with this as they work well together.
